It was 1st June 1995 when Spiritus Consulting started providing specialised consulting services to the industrial gases market. Originally named Cryogas Consulting, the company rebranded in 2001 and has grown from a small j.v. consulting venture to a company with offices in the UK, Hong Kong and associate offices in India and the US, as well as having 25 Associate Consultants.
John Raquet, Managing Director of the Spiritus Group, has been the central figure in the growth of the consulting practice since its formation.
On it's 10th year of activity, John Raquet says 'Over the past 10 years we have had the pleasure of working for small, medium and the large gas companies and providing a truely variable number of consulting services. Interestingly, gas companies only make up 55% of our consulting clients and that as we gained credibility and professional integrity we have expanded our activities with financial institutes, law firms, major end-user industries and engineering/equipment suppliers to the industrial gas business.'
'Clients set us a number of challenges which we believe we have met in a professional and timely way.'
He continues 'The industrial gas business is evolving into a more service related business, presenting new business opportunities for both our clients and ourselves. The next 10 years will probably present even further challenges and the Spiritus Group will develop a global presence and resource to meet them.'
